The attendance figures for the first half of the autumn term have just been published on the front of our website. Although attendance has improved since the start of the year, could you please make every effort to ensure that your child attends regularly.
Although you might think it sounds quite high, anything below 96% attendance is considered poor attendance and anything below 90% is considered persistent absence.
90% attendance for example, means that your child may be missing one day of school every fortnight.
Every week, we award a cup for the classes with the best attendance and punctuality for the preceding week and we will be issuing special certificates for pupils with the best attendance each half term.
Please help your child to be at school on time and to attend every day.
