Hope you are all well and doing ok? It feels like ages since I last saw you. I miss you a lot and can’t wait to see you. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer now. I hope that you have been managing to get out and enjoy the sunshine.
I have been going out every day on a long walk with my husband Mark and my dog Betty, although she gets a bit hot in this weather. Luckily, in the field near where we live there is a river so she can go for a swim to call down. Also in the field is a huge badger’s sett and if we time our walk right in the evening we often get to see the badgers pop their heads up and walking around.
I’m also still painting, it was my mum’s birthday the other day so I painted her a birthday card, she absolutely loved it. I’ve been painting some other pictures too, I’m hoping if I can get a bit better I can frame some to go in my new house when I get to move in.
Every Sunday, my family and I have a Zoom quiz where we have a different topic and have to come up with ten questions. Last week I had history and I asked them a lot of questions about the Norman Conquest and the Battle of Hastings. My dad was surprisingly very good. The quiz gets a bit competitive and my brother is currently winning, it’s very annoying!
I can’t wait to see you all, I miss seeing and teaching you every day.
Mrs Smyth xx
Hope you are all keeping safe and well in this strange time. I just wanted to let you know that we miss you all and miss seeing and teaching you every day.
I hope that you have been enjoying the tasks that we have been setting you on the website. I have found it easiest, if I stick to routine most days. I like to kick start my day with a bit of P.E with Joe Wicks or even better with Mr Pepper or Miss Maghee. I try and get my husband to join in with me.
Keep checking the website as we are adding things on their all the time. Not just English and maths but creative activities for you try at home too. It would be great if you could share any of your work with us and we could pop it on the website.
Enjoy the extra time you are getting to spend with your families and take it as a chance to practise or try something new. I have started to paint using water colours. I find it really relaxing and I’m loving learning a new skill and trying to improve all the time.
I’m enjoying the beautiful weather and going on a walk each day with my dog Betty and my husband Mark. I find that a walk each day helps to clear my mind.
I hope you have enjoyed the extra time you are getting to spend with your families and perhaps using as a time to learn something new.
Remember if you do have any questions regarding the work or anything else you can get in contact at firstname.lastname@example.org
I have uploaded some of my paintings for you to see. Have a go at coping them or create some of your own and share them with us.
Miss you all and see you soon
