Welcome to year 5!
We have 3 classes and teachers in year 5 this year: Mrs. Deshore (5HD), Miss Kyle (5AK) and Mr Harrison (5HD). We are also lucky to be supported by Mrs Bhana, Mrs Bhamji and Mrs Munshi.
P.E.
On Mondays, all year 5 children go swimming so need their kits. This is currently expected to be until the Christmas holidays.
5HD have school based P.E. on Tuesdays
5AK and 5RH have school based P.E. on Thursdays
Homework
Homework is set on Thursdays and is due in either on Tuesday or Wednesday (depending on the class). Children will bring home paper copies of the tasks but occasionally additional digital tasks will be set. Every week, children must read 5 times and have their reading diaries signed by an adult. Children are also expected to learn the spelling rule of the week for a test on Friday.
