What to do if your child is going to be late for school
We expect children to arrive for school on time but we understand that from time to time, there may be a reason why you can not deliver your child to school on time. If this happens, please call the school office
Tel 0116 2737047 as soon as possible, so the school is aware of what is happening.
There is usually a member of staff in the office from 7.30am.
What to do if your child is going to be absent from school
If your child is unwell, please contact the school office as soon as possible on Tel 0116 2737047. There is also the facility on Parentsapp if you are registered to report absence. Additionally, you can send medical evidence via the app if you have been asked by the attendance officer or Educational Welfare Officer to provide proof of absence.
If you child has a medical appointment, please give as much notice as possible to the school office so we can mark it in the register in advance and alert the teacher that your child is going to be absent for a part of the day.
