This is a great time for your child to develop physical skills, begin learning to take responsibility for their own health and hygiene and to develop social skills as they share time with other children in our setting. In Reception we keep our snack times flexible, children make their own decisions about when to have their snack.
At home support your child to wash and dry their hands independently before they eat any food. This will get your child into good habits before they begin school.
